Hiding Behind Makeup | Insecurities

You want to hide behind makeup because it makes you "prettier" but a thick layer of foundation, concealer, and powder does not even do anything other than make your skin bad if you don't wash it off properly. I know, I know, we girls apply makeup cause we're insecure in our bare skin but then again, without our face, how would we even realize the true beauty in us? I mean obviously the face doesn't determine beauty but still, what points of your face would you contour if cheekbones didn't exist. What points of your face would you put lipliner and lipstick on if we didn't have lips?

We should always learn to take time to ourselves to realize our bare face, is the definition of beautiful. No chemicals on it because bare skin shows our features we were born with. Your cute little nose, your soft thin lips, your unstyled hair, it's what makes you uniquely you. No one can impersonate your own beauty so might as well just be confident in our skin.

So what if you have acne? Are you the only person in the world who has it? No. I have it, she has it, he has it. Everyone has it. It's part of life and puberty. So what if your eyebrows are messy and unplucked? Are you the only person in the world who has ot? No. I most definitely have it, some of your friends have it, he has it. They will judge you but they will never have the idea of why you're doing this. I've always hated to go by the rules of society because society gives the wrong impression. I know society is us but if one person chooses to stand out, everyone will follow because they themselves wanted to do it but were too scared.

" I might get hate for the way I look" but not everyone is supposed to like someone. Just because those 3/10 people hate you because you're "ugly" doesn't mean you have to please their standards. What about those other 7. They love you for who you are so why should you bother about that small group of 3 that hates you when you have 7 lovely people who thinks you're amazing and don't have to cover and hide your pretty features with that thick foundation. Our moms always tells us we're beautiful and they're right. They want to make you feel at least a bit better, so they'll tell you you're beautiful because YOU ARE. Everyone is beautiful. You just don't see yourself as beautiful because your perspective of yourself is different from the way others see you.

Who knows maybe the others see you and they feel envious because you're so pretty. You're an amazing person and always smile. Don't let all the hate get to you because your face is one of a kind. No one could ever find one so similar. Even twins don't have exactly the same features. Makeup is fun but it should never be a reason or excuse for you to hide your amazing facial features no matter what they are.
