I don't think any one person would like their skin all wrinkly and dry so I've come up with ways, that I personally think works best, to help your skin get back on it's feet, stronger than ever or just help maintain the way it is now.

My skin type is normal and oily combination.
I can't promise results whether immediately or in the long run because these steps are just a guideline and it's really different for each person. Some of these steps may not be overall correct but it's what I think is right for me.

1. Drink plenty of water
Yes, you've heard this many times, not only does it keep you from getting dehydrated but it keeps the skin from looking dull and dry. This is possibly the best way to keep skin at its best condition. Honestly, I don't abide by the "drinking 8 glasses of water a day" all the time but I do try my best to go by it because I have seen results from this method so it's something everyone should definitely do.

2. Eat healthy & Exercise regularly
Good skin starts from the inside. If you think taking care of it on the outside is enough, well it's not. The food you eat also contributes to how your skin will be like because if you eat a lot of  junk food, your skin will also be messed up and you will not be healthy but if you eat healthy food, that healthy food will have a positive effect on your body and improve and protect your body and skin, of course.
I am again guilty of not always eating healthy but I do try to incorporate fruits and vegetables in my meals.
Whether it be running or sit-ups, push-ups or whatever exercise there may be, it will help a ton. I do exercise regularly now and let me tell you, it feels amazing (besides the tiring part). When you perspire, it releases the bad toxins and it just helps regulate blood flow and release the bad stuff basically.

3. Wash your face twice each day
Once in the morning and once more in the evening before going to bed. Do not wash your face three times each day because it will strip the natural oils from your face and leave it dry. If you use a particularly harsh facial wash on your face in the morning, try to use a more gentle facial wash in the evening so it balances out and relaxes the skin and also won't leave the skin dry from the harshness of the first product you use. Make sure you don't neglect the neck! The first signs of premature aging usually appears on the neck area first so take care of that too and don't use body soap on your neck as it is too harsh. Washing your face helps cleaning off the dirt from your bed, carbon monoxide and stuff that hits (not literally) your face in the outside world.
Also make sure to use a soft towel to dry your face and never wipe, dab while drying.

4. Moisturize and protect.
I can't stress enough on how important moisturising and protecting your skin is. Always moisturize so your skin won't get too dry and disgusting. Make sure to switch moisturizers each season as during winter, a stronger moisturizer is much more appreciated while in summer, lesser moisturizer is better. Always wear sunscreen if you're going to go outside. Even if there's no sun out, UV rays are everywhere. Skin damage and aging is usually caused by the UV rays which harm your skin so always protect your skin!!! Prevention is better than cure. Don't forget to apply on the neck area too.

5. Don't touch your face too much
The hands are the dirtiest part of the body so if you keep touching your face, you're basically transferring those germs on your hands to your face which will cause the oil and dirt to build up and acne will pop up, your pores will be dirty and more.

There are some ways to keep your skin at it's best condition. I hope this helped and if not, there are more ways for your skin to get better so don't worry. Thank you for reading, hopefully this wasn't so painfully long (though I think it is) and enjoyable.

Until Next Time
